Yes, we like to keep the cars near stock. It is not an option to rebuild them too much either, due to regulations it is very hard to get a street legal car with another engine etc than was delivered from the Toyota factory. Our roads and climate are not suitable for "slamming" or lowering the cars too much either, it would leave the cars useless. The Toyota Crowns are made for taking long road trips everywhere, regardless of the road conditions, it is a very very solid and reliable car.
Me and my wife drove 800km that weekend to get to the meeting, across mountains and several places with heavy roadwork that made the road bumpy and slippery. No problems with at stock Crown, of course.
One of the roadblocks, the tunnel was closed due to maintenance, so we had to drive the old road across it (to the right in the picture)
