Hey all,
I imported this car a few years back with the intention to be a general beater. After a long cross country journey picking it up from the port and driving it home, and fixing it along the way, it had cost me far to much money, and we'd been though to much. It sat for a number of months again afterwards to try and get normal insuance. then the transmission died.. and i started on a turbo swap with original FJ20et engine HKS t4 kit, haltech, 875cc injectors arc intercooler and an rb20 Transmission. The complete suspension was changed to a hybrid s13/14 and some others, Including coilovers, Front cross member and steering rack conversion. Swapped to power windows and turboc interior. Then my insurance company dropped all right hand drives and i had to wait again. When i finally qualified for classic car insurance i was super happy. but the New Oe spec clutch couldn't hold any power and would slip at 10psi, i drove for a few months then it was winter. so at the same time i did a Z32 Trans swap, Os Giken twin plate, custom 1 pc shaft, R200 Nismo GT Pro lsd swap, custom axles, widebody, Rays centerlock rims, fixed any rust issues and made way for the rims to turn nicely at the massively lowered ride height. also squeezed in a fresh turbo and ceramic coated the manfolds. Also ordered All new head parts from kameari and HKS Cams, but that's gonna be next season now. Anyone familiar with club s12 may have seen my build post there and i suggest taking a look, but heres a quick picture overview.

Id like to know about that also. Here in NZ it isnt legal to modify steering unless its a factory item, So i think you could get away with this.

i had to drill one new hole each side and slot out the crossmember a few mm and make custom motor mounts and custom build the steering shaft hehe, it's mostly original parts, my steering shaft is from a mazda cosmo, the only thing i made was a plate to adapt from the oem steering bushing to a ujoint and a support for the bottom of the steering column.

thanks for the positive comments, can't wait to be showing you it driving again hehe
