Did some more minor work to the corolla today... I replaced the thermostat... Finished flushing the front brakes and while I was at it I flushed the slave cylinder too...
While replacing the thermostat I found that there wasn't even a thermostat in there in the first place... I guess the previous owner decided it was a good idea to take it out... No wonder before the car would take FOREVER to warm up... Now it warms up at idle in like 15 mins... Engine runs super smooth at normal op temp!
Flushed the front brake fluid... It was super super dirty
Then flushed the slave cylinder
Then decided to clean the front timing cover a bit and little stuff around it...
After (not the best cleaning job but better than before... I can actually see the timing marks now (damn blurry pic)
And finally when the engine was all warmed up I found a new problem... Coolant leak! Haha you can kinda see the leak in the pic... It's leaking out of a hose coming from under the intake manifold...
That's it for now... All I need to do now is fix that leaking hose... Replace the cracked windshield (the drift track requires all vehicles windshields to be crack-free) and then bump up the psi in the rear to like 45 and its off to the drift track for its very first drift session!
That's it for now... Until next time!
