Damn!!!! That was alot of rust, but it looks like you have most of it cleaned up. Very nice.

Amazing work! At first I was the crispiness and was thinking Oh my! But at the end of the thread you would have never guessed the previous condition of the car. That’s an Interesting paint scheme.

Wow, thank you for the great feedback, i was a bit first a bit skeptic to post this project tread... Thought the most of you would be like –“are you stupid, spending all that time on an ke-35”…

I must admit I felt a bit stupid when I had cut out the drivers-,passenger- and the tailgatefloor and I started to realize the crazy amount of work I had ahead of me…

About the paint: The paintjob is going to be a mix of these two pictures:

Last night progress on the project (needs more low…)

Last night got the front bumper and the grill mounted… it starts to look like a car for the first time in 5 years. BTW: Has anybody of you had any problems with EBay weather-strips (I would recall my where called “Toyota General Parts”)? I tried to attach the trunk weather-strip, but it didn’t fit at all, it was too long and weird shaped when I compared it to the old one?

And the mandatory picture to prove I really did something :)

Kudos to you sir....most people would have walked away from a project of that magnitude, the apparent ROT (not rust) on that car was immense. A project such as this demonstrates the determination and drive you have.
