finally got my te72 I've been looking for the last few years its a rare 1983 corolla sr5 lift back its fully loaded 5sp one owner car! that pick up in utah but it is originally from California when bought new. it needs new paint bad but there no rust! the interior is all there and the best part of all its still got its original radio uncut and one little crack on the dash im not sure what i want to do about the motor 4age?

just a quick update been moving so haven't had time till now to start working on it.started by fixing the horn then got a rust free battery tray and parts to replace the rotted out one had that blasted and powder coated then i sprayed bed liner on the tray for tough durable finish now on too ripping out the interior and to start cleaning out that mess

Nice ride! what are your plans for the car? It is almost the same exact shade as mine. I wish mine had the mirros mount higher up on the doors like yours.

finally got back my new rear carpet for the car i guess the material is no longer available anymore so i guess i got lucky with it also starting painting the interior parts on the car came out pretty good Image



this is for anyone with the dark brown interior like i do this sem paint is an match to the color in your car its alittle expensive but worth it 14 dollars a can

Looks very good, solid foundation. Keep in mind that ae86 parts are interchangeable with your car. Liftbacks are making a comeback 8)

- because then you can ship your original steelies (including the rings and hub caps) to me in Hong Kong asap... :wink: Would looove them on my TE61!

Seriously though, the 5-slot mags are certainly very period. It depends of course on which look you want to go for, but personally I quite like them.
