Out of respect for the owners of these cars you're taking photos of, please blank /delete their license plate numbers.

Damn John, where do you find all these guys. You do have a day job right? Or do you just drive around looking for vintage japanese cars... not that there would be anything wrong with that.

Sorry, haven’t visited JNC for far too long! Can I have a play on this thread please, apologies to those who may have seen them on OJC or elsewhere…

Image

Nice little late-model RWD Starlet, think this will be a 1-litre. Am in touch with the owner, it is her first car and her dad picked it up for £150 (very cheap for a 3dr Starlet here).

Image

Image

Subtle Y33 Cedric/Gloria, JDM import as we didn’t get them here.

Image

Image

My C32 Laurel in company with an oddball R30 hatchback. South African built, has an L20B under the bonnet and 3-speed auto. For sale at £2000 or so.

Image

Same guy is restoring this C210 Skyline, just like my old one (L24E in European models, this one a 5-speed).

Image

And he’s got this non-turbo R33 4dr. Engine would go lovely into my Laurel to replace its RB20E.

Image

Chunky-looking early Suzuki Samurai.

Image

Standard-looking R32, my everyday Camry 2.2 in the background (197k miles on the clock!).

Image

Subaru Justy.

Image

Early 323, this one a 1.3 auto. I stored it for a bit on behalf of one friend before it got sold to another, it’s now on the road (and sits much lower).

That’ll do for now, may dig more out later. Sadly not much RWD stuff left here nowadays.

That car is very interesting. I took quite a few pic’s of it, I’ll maybe start a thread on it in the Datsun section as there seems to be a bit of interest in the R30 on there. Very odd spec with it being South African built.

It came up on eBay three or so years back and sold quite cheaply, I still deeply regret not buying it. Got used as a daily then sold to the chap who I went to see, he did some work on it but nothing major.

With L20B and auto it’s not going to be fast, but I think it’s good for showing that the Skyline range is about more than just the GT-R’s etc.
