bought another Toyota, the frame broke in half on my Nissan truck (and i drove it for a month like that, not fun lol) and i think it had its time.

1991 Toyota Crown Royal Saloon, 7MGE automatic. 90,000km and im the 2nd owner since it came from Japan 6 years ago. apparently 1 of 2 Royal Saloon in the country. completely stock except for aftermarket headunit and fully synthesized tuner. wanted another luxury sedan and i can honestly say this is the most comfortable vehicle i have ever been in. kinda nice to have a automatic again for a daily driver too. unfortunately only have a older picture of it, have to get some new ones lol

How common are Crowns in Canada? I live in Minnesota so getting JDM cars from Winnipeg isnt too hard.

I loved my old UZS131 Crown. Can't beat the look of a boxy late 80's/ early 90's VIP car :) Drop it to the floor and put some decent wheels on and you're set

Cheers

Bear

thanks, ill try to get some new pics on the weekend. if the weathers nice Saturday ive gotta get all the swirls out of the paint, washed it last weekend and its pretty bad but i think i can fix it up. wish i could slam it, but not really an option. i had a Nissan sedan years ago that i slammed and drove in winter and it was a nightmare, scraped allover lol

next up on the list is go a bit VIP and get the windows tinted then wheels

So you're the one who has been cruising around in that car! I saw it for sale on Kijiji a couple weeks ago. Beautiful car. Not giving up on the Supra are you?

I keep forgetting you guys have to deal with snow during winter.... So I guess a slammed ride isn't the best idea. But if you had bags, best of both worlds :)

nope not giving up on the Supra, i had a Nissan Hardbody that i bombed around in winter but the frame broke in half. everything was going on it, it burnt like 2L of oil a week, no 5th gear, etc so i sold it for parts for 150 (and i paid 650 for it 2 years ago lol) and bought the Crown to bomb around in yearround. likely in a month or two i should have time to try and get the Supra running again. hate to say it but im not willing to sell it haha, lots of people have asked. even had a guy wander into my garage one day and offer quite a bit for it and i had to say no just because of sentimental value. the odds of finding another 1 owner early number Supra in its shape with all the original paperwork intact is nil

haha never, it would break my heart if it got parted out or something happened to it. its sitting in the garage under a car cover waiting to run again

bags would work pretty well, something to consider

Glad to hear it, that Supra is a gem.

if its 5x114.3 you have a LOT of period-correct options out there.

only thing thats biting me is i had a set of mint 1990s Rays Engineering Volk Daytona years ago, i went through the trouble of getting good tires etc then the engine and trans blew on my old car and i bought the Supra so i sold the Rays for nothing, i think 300 bucks thinking i wouldnt have another 5 lug car for years. would be perfect right now

some legit 90s 15 inch black mesh rims would be nice but probably would be a wait for some to come up lol

you maybe could have gotten more but they would have looked odd on an older crown.

its almost begging for some deep wide 5-spokes, 90's VIP style.

going to attack the paint this weekend if the weather finally cooperates, lots of swirlmarks everywhere. worse than i thought but i think i can get them out. also going to try to tweak the tuner but i dont know where to start lol
