Yeah, I know it needs some low but I dont really have a shop or space to work and I am still re-buying all the tools that were either lost or stolen during my last move so I dont have an angle grinder or sawzal to cut the springs. Hoping that I can get with one of my friends saturday and get it at least a little lower

Believe or not, the harbor freight 10$ angle grinder is about the best thing you can get. You can not kill them. I leave mine outside in the mud. I have used them as hammers in fits of anger. Best 10$ you can spend at harbor freight. A pack of cut-off wheels will run you 5 bucks if you can score them on sale. Trust me, I can sympathize with no shop space. Lost mine about 1.5 yrs ago. Driveway life for me! Keep it up, car is looking tough!

Picked up a Habor Freight angle grinder today and a couple cut off wheels so I am guessing that either friday or saturday the car will be a good bit lower. I also need to get my wheels re-balanced as I lost a bunch of the stick on weights that were on them

Funny story, got some new front springs today that should drop the car about 2", I will be cutting the rears in the next couple days as well. Ran into a local guy who is in to x6 cressidas so he has already given me a bunch of the information that I need. Once the springs are cut the next order of business will be to get my 5 speed swap done, which should start here in the next few weeks

hahaha. this car makes me laugh.

the front lip kinda disappears under that bumper, i couldn't even tell it was there. maybe look for one of those big chin spoilers?

the flares look better than i expected if i squint hard.

your wheel/tire combo makes it look like you're rolling on bowling balls, especially at that ride height.

glad to hear you're bringing it down more, it's desperately needed.

Got the last few parts of my 5 speed swap sourced, just waiting for everything to get here! All my suspension has been ordered and is in the mail and my front coilovers should be close to being done this weekend, the rears are almost 100% bolt on minus a couple small spot welds so those should be pretty easy to get finished up.
Complete suspension setup:
Front:

MR2 strut inserts shortened 2"
10" Length 450lb Eibach Springs
Adjustment collars from Civic Ebay coilovers
S13 Camber Plates (still need to be ordered)
Rear
Camaro Shocks
8.75 "long 5.5" 550lb Circle Track springs (Mounted in the stock location)
Circle Track ride height adjusters
I am still looking for some anti-roll bars but other than that the suspension is pretty much done. I will get some pics up of the new parts once everything is done being fabbed up, till then its time to start doing some more work to the rear fenders to get some clearance so I can get LOW!

how set on those flares are you? i ask because you're probably going to want to go with something more functional/better looking once you get the big deal stuff like 5 speed and suspension taken care of. i'd say on an x6 there's *almost* no way you could make it look worse than factory stock, and with those wheels and tires you pretty much need garuchan flares to make the look.

The way the flares sit right now they are very functional and I do kind of like the style of them, but I will be switching up the wheel/tire combo sometime in the fairly near future and I will be doing custom metal flares that fit the new rollers perfectly. For right now I am far more concerned with getting my parts on and getting the 5 speed swap done

I got some low!
Stock rear suspension came out
Image
Rear adjustment collars were welded up by my buddy Isaac
Image
And this went in
Image
Then the front suspension came out and we built my coilovers, by this time it was getting dark so no pics of the new front suspension :(
Image
Then I grabbed a super shitty dark picture of the car all set down with no flares on it and that is how it sits now.
Image

I will grab some new pics tomorrow that are not pitch black

No they are from Wheel Vintiques, I am going to be getting different wheels in the next few months that will be much different then these, style wise at least.

More stuff got done today, mainly just cleaning up the fenders so I can stop cutting up tires so bad
Doing some fender work.....I can see my tires by opening my trunk now. But at least now I have almost no rubbing.
Image
A decent pic of the front coilover setup
Image
And here it is back on the ground. Please excuse the front fender gap, we took over 3" out vertically and now that the flares are off everything looks like crap. I am looking for new front fenders that will be flared similar to how the rears are done.
