Will postmore pics up later. Lemme know any conversion ideas or colour choices, i was thinking original blue with the rims white, but let me know

I would get the body and interior where you want it before worrying about an engine conversion. I have a bad habit of fixing the mechanicals on my cars and then neglecting the aesthetics because I am having so much fun driving the car.

I think you are on the right track with the factory blue. Sometimes it is hard to beat the factory color.

Good luck with it! What country are you in?

I have no experience with a 3k but considering you don't hear people talking about modding them, I would say a swap is the most cost effective way to get some more power.

The fender mirrors and lip spoiler just depend on your personal taste. I think it would look nice but what it comes down to is that you need to mod the car in ways that will make YOU happy.

I bought a lip for a VW, it was cheap and fits great.

Hey dude cool car. My girlfriend had a KE35 2door sedan for a little while. Same color as yours and white interior.

Unfortunately some idiot kid owned it a few owners back and put on a tacky momo steering wheel and did a closed-door respray so paint was chipping and peeling in places.

She ended up selling because it was too tiny and felt unsafe but hey who cares. I would have loved to keep it and use as a daily for myself but have no garage space. Coupe is way cooler so you're one step ahead!

Don't spend money on modding the motor. It's a trap so many kids fall into. Per dollar spent, bodywork is a way better investment. GF's had a 4k put in and even with the 2spd auto it puttered around in traffic fine.

Honestly don't spend a cent on the 3k. If you want a new motor, 5K is not too expensive. 4AGE will be awesome fun in such a light car and they're not tooooooo pricey either. Lots of revs, sooo much fun! But just leave the 4age stock, not worth the effort doing ITB's and all that shit. Personally think you should spend the $1500 (at least) for motor conversion on some cool wheels, mirrors, venetians, front lip, and whatever your heart desires to make it look cool as FARK.

I have a pair of 14" techno TRV rims for sale if you'd like them. Not sure on your location but I can post them for $250 + postage (between 30 and 50 extra). They look like this:

hey guys thanks for all the feedback, really appreciate it.i have decided to focus more on the mechanical stuff at the moment as the bodywork is under control. ive came to the decision that im gonna make my own front lip/spoiler out of aluminium sheetmetal so i get it exactly how i want, as for the engine does anyone know if i can drive it on my p's with an engine conversion thats non turbo like the 4age in australia ?
cheers

Best bet is to consult your local transport authorities, normally an e-mail or two to them and you'll have all the info you need.

Chances are because the 4age is more than 20% increase in power than the 3k, you might need to get it engineered/mod plated/whatever.

And then because it's 'modified', you probably won't be allowed to drive it

But hey, soon as you put decent wheels on it you're driving an illegally modified car. Same with fender mirrors. So really up to you what to do...
