By the way, spot number "31" is open on the Nostalgic Skyline Registry! Be the first R31 to take it! :tu:

Remedy my tyre profile and arch gap conundrum with sufficient lowering and I should be good to go, aesthetically.

what size are those? not to be a dick, but it still looks pretty small. i'd suggest a 60's series tire perhaps. the wheels look great, just need to get the tire sizing sorted IMO. i currently run 225/60/15. i'll be goin down to a 50 or 55, but that's just due to my height/extremly low offset (-69 in the rear...) causing a little rubbing.

almost look like 13s?
most likely 14s but the kit makes them look small.

I have 195/60R14's on the way. Those are 195/45. Waaaaaaaaaaaay too small, I agree, they do however look a lot better than what was on there.

Fronts are 6.5, rears 7.5 Rears are perfect offset, fronts could be a little better but they're definitely tolerable. With the 195/60s on there and some lowering, it should be quite alright, though there will still be some arch gap, I imagine.

that should help a lot haha. gap is gonna be there still, but with 14's, you have to slam the living hell out of it for there not to be haha.

To be honest R30s and R31s look best on 15s or 16s.
14s are a bit too small.

14's are fine, with the right sized tyre.

Aesthetically it's just the height to sort out now...

I think the 14's are to small also. I drive a Dastun roadster that is tiny and 14's can look to small on them depending on what type wheel and if it has a stepped lip. I say do 16's, it's a lot bigger car. But I also get it, 16's are hard to find in a vintage wheel but you can find 14's all day long.

Lol, what. 14s are fine on a R30. I'd rather have 14s over 16s or 17s to be perfectly honest.

The early DRs had 14" wheels standard, it was only after the facelift that 15s became an option.

14's are ok if they are stupidly wide and the car is stupidly low.
I wouldnt get close to swarfs height in mine unless I raised the FJ or dry sumped it.
Neither will happen.
Currently height below sends sparks down the road from my sump bash gaurd.
It has 15" wheels, new wheels and 5 stud conversion ~2 weeks away.
