Saw your Hako out at the Top Gear show. Seemed to be getting a bit of attention. My dad had the red Porsche 944 out there on one of the Car club stands, from which I was able to see your Hako.

Clutch slave is easy, they're the same as any rwd Datto from the 70s.

Clutch master is a little harder...I think mine is a 240Z one, and I had to elongate the holes slightly to make it fit. Also the hard line came out on the opposite side (if I recall correctly) so I had to make a new hard line. But I reckon if had a look at 180B etc you would find something that's the same.

Brake is a no go, sadly. I reckon it's the same as the master in a Fairlady Roadster, so pretty rare. But a good brake shop will be able to resleeve and rebuild the stock master for you, which is what I did.

You mean the painted vin plate in the engine bay?

The number should also be stamped onto the passenger side sill. Undo that trim plate on the door jamb, peel back the carpet and you should see it. I have no idea how ot decode the VIN number into meaningful dates, but I'm sure it corresponds to some well-known Nissan convention that *someone* would know :D

Haha...Uchida-san is quite the trickster :)

But yeah, I can only order from them via a middleman in Japan (try www.jessestreeter.com) who them forwards them to me.

BTW...slightly random update.

My good friends at the HoonTV video production house told me that the Hako vid would be shown as a warm up for the Fast & Furious 6 movie, and it looks like it's embedded in some sort of infomercial :)

Apparently "you weren't boo-ed" :D
