Here are a few more shots of the car from my time @ JDM Legends. You can read more about the shop tour, here: http://jdmchicago.com/wp/2013/01/jdm-legends-visit/

Datsun style,

No. The car isn't in my possession yet. Some more restoration and paint work is being done. I should have the car by the end of the month, but I probably won't mount the longchamps on for awhile.

I've seen a bit of the progress on this as well. It's nice to be local to JDM Legends, great group of guys and nice eye candy at the meets. Now I just got to save up some $, though the current Datsun is using it all up.

Good to see the engine bay getting a thorough overhaul. Can you give us a run down on what the engine specs and plans are? What long motor and carbs have you got there? :tu:

Sorry for the late response! So, I decided to keep the L20 for a few reasons,

- Car will primarily be a cruiser, don't need too much power.
- Compression was really good (motor was rebuilt at some point in Japan)
- Something about having the original L20a is very appealing to me

As far as carbs, went with a complete Weber 40 DCOE kit

And while I'm here, here are more updates..... Nothing like opening up your email and see that "attachment" icon. JDM Legends does not skimp on pics, that's for sure!
