Hi,

got my rims today, tires still missing, wanted to go 195/50-15 or would you suggest 195/55-15 ?

it is 8x15 ET15 front and ET0 out back, cannot go any wider as it seems already quite tight.

How low are you planning to drop it? I'd go with the 55's if you aren't dropping too far, and 50's if you want to go a bit lower. Both are the same width, just different diameter/profiles.

After visiting the tire shop today I decided for the 55 tires, look more oldschool to me and i need to drive the car on non-perfect roads should be the better option to fill the wheelhousing without going to the ground. Will post pictures once they are mounted.

damn looks good. My 15x9 et 0 wheels rub the inside well on my corona when its completely turned. I'm getting 1 inch spacers and already have the fender flairs to install.

Doesn't look too bad at all, actually. I mean, a bit high compared to some of the cars on here but not nearly as 4x4ish as some of them turn out. Nice choice for the rims and colour, great combination!

Hi,

just got my car lowered and the fender walls bend yesterday. The car is starting to make more fun each day :-) Could go way lower but the streets overhere don't allow it.

Next up some small spacers out back and and exhaust .... the current one is pieced together from 20 pieces, will take a picture once it is our -- looks like art !

how did you lower the car. and how is your front suspension setup. Is it a coild over a shock, or the older style that looks like 66-69 ford mustang type suspension.

Hi,

it is like old Chevy style, meaning 2 A-arms with a spring between the lower A-arm and the chassi and a shock running in the middle. all very low, not using a tall tower for the spring.

Hi,

today I installed some 8 mm spacers on the back axle, fits perfect. Even though my suspension is still quite soft, no touching with at least 5-8 cm of suspension. As I have 15x8 ET 0 plus 8mm of spacer, i guess with a stiff suspension ET-15 should go .... bad luck for me, maybe next time am brave enough to go right away with less ET or with an inch more of wheel width.
