Anyone collect vintage CRT portable TV's ?
I started to collect vintage portable color tv's.
I usually get them for free, rescue from garbage or pay very little for them.
Here's a few that I got recently:

1978 Eaton Viking 10" Portable 8761-10C Color CRT

1987 Hitachi CT-1367 Portable Color TV

1988 Sony Trinitron KV-1326r

I have one of the original Black and White, 12 channel only [no UHF] Sony portables which I bought in Japan in 1963. Complete with fitted luggage type carrying case, leather battery case [and both lead acid batteries] with charger and the original cardboard shipping boxes. Call me a pack rat. I didn't think to pick up the in window auto antenna otherwise I would show this in my 1967 Datsun at car shows.

These are neat! I really want to find a nice Trinitron to play old video games on.

Picked up a couple more since last post:

1978 Sears (Sanyo) Model 14062 Color Portable TV

This set was used in the 1997 Titanic movie.
It's the same model Old Rose is watching at the beginning of the 1997 Movie

Portable would be a bit of a stretch, but I have this Mitsubishi 20" CRT with fancy woodgrain trim and remote control. Weighs an absolute ton.

I can't find a build date on it, but I'd say early 1980s. Was given to me for free by someone leaving the country, I didn't really need it but I couldn't stand to see it be wasted. Story of my life.

I've also got a Hitachi K50-E like this, I bought it in a junk shop in the early 90s and I still have it somewhere.

Took it camping, takes 10 D-Cell batteries I seem to recall. Felt pretty smug being able to watch all the Saturday morning cartoons.

After 2 weeks of waiting the Kawasaki KS-23 Power cord arrived.
Plugged the TV in and it fired right up !
The vertical hold was messed up, so i adjusted that along with contrast and brightness.
I waited 30 minutes to adjust them.

Anyways, I made a little video of the set.

cheers. :)
