Unless you have other ones you are swapping in from another vehicle, no. Leave the stock strut casings as-is. Ive done 3 sets adjustable coil overs w/sleeves on TE31's/KE30's and it is maximum low in the front without even adjusting the coil overs. Reflector scraping low when they are adjusted all the way! Unfortunately I traded the car not long after that for a nice looking '74 peanut. The orange TE is currently gattering dust in a barn not too far away waiting for a buyer. Saddly I would've love to be able to keep it but I can't afford 2 project right now.

I think I got it, I took out the left strut tower but the right ones bottom two bolts did not want to break lose going to try to finish the job next weekend. Got someone to help me weld.
But.... a picture would be nice for reference lol

Thanks!!! The picture helps, I left it with a friend to weld it. Hopefully I can put everything back together this weekend. Seems like I can get a real nice drop.
Oh and I got my good friend to purchase an 85 celica a few days ago. Now he is one of us
