Got this L block head from an old dude that was into rally cars in the 70s

That is a very rare FIA head, only sold to racers through Datsun Competition Parts.

As you can see it uses a different intake, different exhaust, different water jacket routing, etc.

Cheers m8 thanks for getting back to us is there any way of finder out its history on it like who it was give to wat team..... Also have inlet manifold not carbs tho............ I seen that line wat made me post hear just wasnt sure as it looks a little different to that one.......

History? It was sold to anybody with access to the NISMO catalog and enough money to order it. Likely part number 99996-D1162 [without valves] or 99996-D1161 [with valves] which came ported and polished for the 44mm intake and 35mm exhaust valves.
