Small update , i have bought some new wheels as i didnt think the big charcoal 18's were not suited
i am going back to this look

Image

They were 16" and i have now bought these in 17"

Image Image

Would prefer them in gold so i might just get them repainted and post up some pics when its all done

Man too bad you can't really lower cars over there. It would look so good with just a bit more of a drop. Roads and laws prevent that right?..looking nice, I'm more of a yota fan but always love the look of the cars Nissan puts out...

I dont plan to lower it anymore than it is , the roads around here are disgracefull .. The front lip has a few battle scars allready  , I think in this state NSW you can legally lower only 50mm :td:

Wheels have been trial fitted , need to remove nissan lettering from calipers and the fronts are a go , the rears fit good with enough room to widen an inch or two inwards ... dropping them off tomorrow to be painted gold and if parts can be found the rears widened

Wheels are back  Got the centres painted gold , the outers polished , new nuts and bolts , and rears widened to 8.5 " ... The rears went on nicely , the fronts however still need a 3 mm spacer and some more light machining of the nissan lettering off the calipers , some longer wheel studs on the front are in order too

Some more pics next week when they are all on

Update time

Recently went to the drags , and with my mechanicly sympathetic driving netted off a 12.6 @ 118
on the street tyres , traction was an issue

Image

The manual gearbox is starting to get a bit noisy , so ive decided to go the automatic route

Image

Auto is a jatco RE4R03A from a Z32tt , ive just got the box back from being rebuilt , it now is
manualised valve body , billet servo , kevlar bands and all the good fruit that will make it reliable
Stall convertor is 3000 rpm as we will still see some highway driving .. a 50 shot of gas will be used at the drags to get it up off the line along with some suitable drag radials this time

Flexplate has been replaced with a stronger aftermarket type as the factory one will not cope when the engine is rebuilt for more HP

Image

hopefully it will be all done by christmas , next on the list is E85

Gearbox bolted straight up , tailshaft was the same , had to modify the gearbox x member .. starter motor runs backwards off the bellhousing as opposed to the manual where it run off the front of the bellhousing
