This is an amazing resto so far - it's a shame about the strict modification laws in Switzerland, but I can't wait to see this car completed!!

@ drive by:yeah i always see bad cars on my trips to UK.i heard you can drive everything on the streets as long it has lights and brakes.isn't it?

@knoonz:thanks a lot.we learnt to handle our laws, but they will always be stronger and stronger, and we have to pay more and more for our certificates!!

At the moment the laurel is at the paintshop and will be ready to paint in about 2 weeks!!i'm very excited!!
last week i did some cage works and was preparing the engine bay with primer.
this week i have to strip the doors, prepare the fenders and hood and all the small parts.
then the bumpers will go to the sandblaster after i've installed some reverse gear lights.they are missing in the JDM taillights, and we need them over here!!

thanks eric:-) it was important for me to keep the original color code.

i will post some pics with allready finished details very soon.
at the moment have still a lot of parts who have to get sandblasted or powdercoated or galvanized.
here a few pics:

a lot of stuff came back from sandblasting and is ready to get painted
Image

the clips for the sill "deco" and the door adjustplates came back with new galvanized surface.all the other screws and washers i did a few months before.

and i know what to do on this rainy weekend here in switzerland.cage, some heatshields and protection shields are fresh powder coated in black.
