Hey all,

First time poster on here. Just picked up this beauty. All though not my first classic car every. But is my FIRST classic JDM. Cant wait to get it out to shows and what not. First mods looking to do are shave off my door mirror throw on fender mirrors and get some fender flares and front air dam. Not sure what ill do for the lip but im looking at mk1 rabbit lips they look good from some pics ive seeen. And as well cant wait to get my coilovers....(have thought about bagging it tho). I think exhaust is next on the list tho.

The only things that have been done thus far have been just little bits here and there to make it more pleasing to my eyes. I picked up some plasti-dip from the local lowes and did quite a bit of blacking out the chrome on the car. I for one am not a huge fan of chrome. To me made it look a hell of a lot better. Cant wait to do my other mods.

Brian

Day 1 of getting the corolla.

Shortly after. The black out commenced.

Loving the volvo wagon in the background. I have a 1990 740 turbo wagon as my DD (342,000 miles on it too)

I like the blacked out look. Usually I'm hesitant to mess with stock trim pieces but that turned out really nice.

Yeah i was worried about it too at first but it did come out really good.! Thanks.

Yeah thats my roomies 240 wagon. I was the first in this house to get one it was a 87' wagon. 400 bucks running driving 5spd. It recently got totaled. I was leaving toys for tots at pacific raceways in kent,wa. Some jackass piece of you know blew a stop sign pulling out infront of me going 40mph. Needless to say the car is now stripped and rolling shell sitting in my garage. Super sad. Then i picked up a 84 244 turbo 4spd. That was a nightmare so i sold that asap!!

MK1 Rabbit? cant wait to get mine looking better. Gonna get short struts and cut my tubes for now. Then eventually when i get a new job. Do the ae86 front suspension.

Ive been seeing some really sweet xbs as of late. Really badass interior. I saw one from a video of crafted fitment down in san fran. Car exterior was the same green as thoes arazona tea cans the asian looking one lol and he had color matched interior and cans in the cup holders was cool as hell looking.

Yeah i feel you on the gas. I used to try and bring my Volvo wagon and my Audi to shows but i made sure they werent far away lol. I see your in oregon so i understand that 100% sir.
