I have a set of 13 x 8 SSR MKII's, should my Wheels say SSR anywhere on the back or something, because they don't?

The SSRs like those are usually stamped on the front of the spokes. Look at the top spoke in this image:

Also, if you look at the bolt head side of the bolts, they should say SSR on them.

I don't think so, I can't look at them now because the car is in Columbus for tuning.. I do remember that the bolts were not even the same shape as the ones in the pic you posted, perhaps the wheels had been previously disassembled and fitted with different lips or something? I bought the wheels from a forum member who had them on his AE86..

Its quite unlikely that they were disassembled and fitted with new lips. SSRs are a welded 3pc. rim. They sandwich the center in between both the inner and out barrel and then weld along the seam. You would have to cut them apart and continue that way. People have done it, but it takes a machinist or wheel refinisher to do it really. Its also a very expensive project.

The bolts in the picture above are flipped so that the nuts are on the outside. Its possible that they were turned around so that the heads were showing... Here is a picture of what the bolt heads look like (notice the SSR casting)

I'll check the bolts when the car comes home, if they don't say ssr, I don't know of any company that did a knockoff of the mkII.. I would be so sad if they weren't the real deal.. You can see pictures of the car and wheels at Facebook.com/dannypadden

if they are a very old set of MK2's then they could have no markings.

of course right now i can't seem to find pics of an old set, but i'm thinking off the silver/slant lips type.

assuming they're 4x114?

Well, one way to find out if they are first run SSRs would be the lugnut style... OP, which style of lugnuts do your rims take?- shank or tapered? Looking at the original advert for the 15in. MKII shows the circular Speed Star logo... so I would conclude they would be fake without one... I had just remembered where I saved it so I pulled it up.

The wheels were originally 4 x 114.3 but I re-drilled them to 4 x 110.. My rx7 uses lug bolts which work fine, they have a taper I believe.

OG SSRs used the shank style so that rules that out (though like I said, I can see the Speed Star oval in the original advert). Its possible that they were powdercoated thick and its just hard to see...

Its hard to tell anything with the car being so far away in the pictures. Whatever they are, they look good on the RX7.
