I did learn about a meet lately that meets every SUnday in Southlake. It is mainly import based (modern imports)... I even meet a couple of guys with some 280ZX's and a guy with a 75 Hilux.

Any more info? Piggybacking onto another bigger meet might be just what the doctor ordered. :tu:

Ok, last night there were only 4 of us. Where the hell is everyone at? It's like you guys that show up once or twice then never come back, what the hell!

I went to the Southlake meet last Sunday, and it was pretty awesome! You guys should just move over there being that it's also on Sunday nights. Plus I also saw the Datsuns there along with some Bozo'd Hondas... I think I will go again tonight. :x

Well, apparently I am a dumbass. I just looked up that location and it isn't in "Not Texas" as I had originally thought. (No, I did not know where Southlake is, ya whipper-snappers!) I suppose I could be talked into moving to this show location. My biggest problem is the time they meet. If WE were to meet earlier and let the youngsters show up at a million o'clock, when I'm ready to go home, I'd be even more on-board.

I like that plan. Meet there at 7pm, and those who want to stay and see the other cars can, and those that don't can bail?

What food places are near that garage?

Is anyone planning on going to the next meet up in south lake? The guys who do it are called Texas Imports Today. I talked to a couple of guys and a few old school imports attend it regularly. I will be going to the next one 1/27 in the 240z

I might make the trek over in the Genesis Coupe to see what's what but I don't think I'm going to take the Seven to it just yet.

I was thinking of going this Sunday night, if it isn't too cold. I like the meet, but I am not sure we should move our meet all the way over there.

I'm going to try and "kidnap" John and bring him along. If some of our other regulars show up we can take a vote or something... or not, I'm easy.

Oops, I didn't make it last night after all.

As for next Sunday, are we having our usual meet? Isn't there some bowling thing on TV that night? Super Bowling... or some such? I don't know. I just heard some folks talking about it.

Well I went this Sunday. HOLY CRAP that thing is getting big! I got there 30 mins late at 8:30 and the top level was already full. They ended up filling the top two floors and some of the third. I think a DJ is a regular thing now. There was even a yellow Lambo Murcielago showed up!

Maybe we can do a special meet or two over there to help boost numbers, but maybe not permanantly move the meet itself.

Two things:
1) I plan to go to the Southlake event on the 17th since I don't have to work the next day.
B) Are WE meeting Sunday at Freebird's in spite of the Stupid Bowel?
