Sorry I hadn't posted much this year
Just been busy driving the car which is taking its toll on the shell(cracking)
Its time to either retire it or CAGE it.

Hi,
I wanted to know what type of flares you used on the cressy, the old posts are gone or something?

The shell is cracking
Top left of the rear window
And the base of both rear pillars near the vents

Yeah it definitely needs to be caged if I'm going to continue sliding it.

It would suck to see you take apart that car after all the work you've done over the years. But if it comes down to safety and its not worth it. No one can blame you.

your dilemma is what made me stich and add bracing to my body. i spent an immense amount of time on it to make sure that I wouldn't have any cracks.

I dont plan on much drifting but if i did want to i want to make sure mine is up to the task.

japan. please don't do hako spoiler on the x7, the cleanest ones are spoiler-less and you'd be drilling a hard to come by trunk lid.

It already had one on, the damn holes are there already covered by black electrical tape, I guess it was removed before they imported it.

If not ill just cover the holes.

in that case go for it 8)

alternate option would be to find a wangan style spoiler, or have the trunk lid fill welded before you repaint.

knowing your plans for the stye, i'd say fill the holes, get a lip spoiler to go with that roof spoiler you want for it. from what i've seen on the examples you're going by it's either lip spoiler or no spoiler at all on the trunk. right?

Any updates on your plans for a cage?

Would some bracing on the frame help? Do you have to go full cage? I guess if your drifting a lot you get the added benefit of safety.
