Pimpin Starlet ya got there. A couple more possibilties for tires, Tuner Shop and Midland wheels. Both out of the UK, the brits still love their 13s, my buddy got his wheels and tires from Midland, tires are yokohama 185/60/13. They'll cost ya but you can get em.

As awesome as 13's are, this why why I went 15's.

Problem is, 15s look great on a 510. Not on a lot of other cars. I tried 15s on my 1200 and it looks like a monster truck, even with a 195/45-15 (smallest diameter 15" tire available).

I really need to find some 195/45-14s right now. A few sites listed them 6 months ago, but it seems no one has them now...

Tunershop sells them, but they'll cost ya. Also, to the original poster, try Midland Wheels in the UK, they have everything up to a 205/60/13 and they will ship to the US.

I ended up getting 165/55-14s. Same outside diameter as the 195/45-14, but a better stretch. 8)

Those are 14x7s. Thought they would stretch more than that, but oh well... :P

Very short tire means very low car. 8)

A lot lower than that photo would indicate.

This is where I'm headed...

Yeah, I love that Sunny. Are you running spacers to push em out? Because they're not very wide and they don't look to be extremely low offset to fill out those flares.

Yes sir. Somewhere around 1/2" to 3/4". With the studs I have, I can go up to a 1" spacer. :tu:

They are -9, but could be deeper. Thinking eventually I'm going to order a set of Work Equip 01s or 03s in a 14x7.5 -22.

These are just kind of a stop gap anyway, mainly to see how I feel about 14s. I need to finish the car and get it roadworthy before I drop $1600 on a set of wheels... :P

And somehow I think they looked deeper before I painted them... :P

FYI, that pic is with a 1.25" spacer and the wheel is flush with the flare. :tu:

Damn dude, 1.25? Yeah, you gotta play with the offset on the next wheels.

I am pretty sure that was with six degrees negative camber, though. :P

Today I dialed it back to 3 degrees and the current wheels got a bit more flush. :tu:

I'm also not ready to give up on wide 13's, and my sumitomos are bald.. Has anyone successfully ordered tires from the uk? I would love to stick with 195/60/13's but would settle for 185 if necessary.. Monday I will have to learn how to call the shops in England.
