Another nice 1300 coupe sydney australia!

This 1970 Mazda 1300 Coupe was purchased new by one of my customers brother in October 1970 in
Rabaul, papa new guinea where he was a Cessna pilot for a Mission station. He applied
much of his previous experience as a NRMA patrolman in maintaining the
aircraft and was equally meticulous in looking after his Mazda. In 1973, he
took up commercial piloting. As his base was Brisbane, Queensland, the Mazda
was transferred there and resided in that State for the next 35 years under
careful surveillance. The vehicle was purchased from his estate in 2009 and it
now resides in suburban Sydney, New South Wales.

One of the best 1300 I have ever seen, the owner lives in the same area and see him all the time.
This picture my wife took, hat and all..

that is a very nice coupe meet the old guy a few times and have given him some parts for his coupe real nice guy to , and good i no the car is in good hands with him

Would it be that there are no heater controls in this old girl?
Don't think you would ever need a heater in Papua New Guinea!

I was thinking maybe the centre console although it doesn't appear to be a Deluxe so therefor it shouldn't have one. Is it steel dash frame not being painted in the body colour? It shouldn't have clear front indicator lenses either.
