Well Ive owned lots of old school Japanese cars but never a legit and extremely rare JDM car, got her a couple of days ago and since then Ive been cleaning her doing all the maintenance and taking care of all the little things wrong with her.

Car specs:
1985 Toyota GX71 Mark II GT Model
Twin turbo 1G-GTE engine
24 valve twin cam
OEM 2 way 8 inch LSD differential

Suspension:
Front: JIC front coilovers with camber plates
Rear: Ae86 springs and shocks

Interior:
Completely stock and beautiful other than half a cage and bucket driver seat.

Wheels:
Rare SSR MK1's
front:14x8 -0 offset 4.5 inch lip
rear: 14x9 -25 offset 5.5 inch lip

Future plans well for now keep on with the maintenance and later on 2013 a good paint job

All right on with the pics:

Nice car. Good to see that you are going to maintain it first. I think maintenance and general functionality should always come before lowering and appearances. (That is probably why my car looks the way it does) For a big boxy JNC, this looks good.

work on the stance of the car cause the rear has way to much camber, ( I do have questions on this )

I say leave that alone and add some more negative camber to the front. 8)

FWIW, improperly adjusted toe is most often what kills tires, camber not so much. :tu:

Working on the rear end right now cause the wheel cylinders , boots and other basic parts have to be changed so after some research the rear end is very similar to the 8 inch supra mk3 rear end, toyodiy can be great lots of times.

On another note decided to start saving for a 2jz gte swap plus Orlando has so many good JZ shops that I can't resist it.

im pretty sure this car has a waiting list for it's next owner, it has a very long history before the current one and the friend of the guy who originally brought it over is hovering. he's in TX too so it's all good.

I thinks it's been from hand to hands cause people get scared when you can't find parts anywhere for it and everything with this car involves money so they push it off to the next person.

I noticed that there's people waiting for it but there gonna have to wait cause I'm keeping her for a bit, she needs a whole lot of maintenance and catching up to do so that's what I've been doing for the past month, the previous owner had installed the wrong rotor in the rear so she was grinding and could barely move, she's in the right hands now.

In 2013 a engine swap is in the works ( 2jz-gte ) and a paint job, don't know yet if 2 tone shakotan style or a nice burgandy we shall see for now she stays with me.
