I just moved to Fujisawa, Japan a few months ago (From Houston, TX USA) and have been in search for the JNC of my dreams. Somehow, all my automotive plans start with the search for something vintage but I always end up buying something more modern. Time to make that change.
I've wanted an S30 Fairlady for the longest time and have also recently become interested in the Hakosukas, Kenmeri and first gen Celicas.
Unfortunately, the JNCs I've come across in my search so far have been less than appealing, even when venturing into the relatively high price point shops. Hopefully something reasonable will come my way soon.
Would love to hear about anyones experience with Japanese dealerships or private sellers/brokers during their search.
My previous builds have been track/time attack focused. Time for something a bit more laid back with vintage character.
