I cheated a bit on mine...a pair of Webers popped up between the before and after pictures

I am amazed at how well this works, especially since I put only the minimum amount of effort into it. And it is a 38 year old engine bay!

You didnt really have to use WD40 on yours.. It wasnt that grimey !
If I were you, I would have used all purpose cleaner, diluted in water, and hosed it off. The WD40 method is only used to break down grime, hard buildup of rustproofing.

actualy is wd40 so cheap in the usa?
I would never use it for cleaning since the average price is about 4$ for a small can

Amazing results!

I have a huge issue with oil finger prints on my car. I wonder if WD-40 will keep it clean. I have to try it

People please! That’s fake! Look at the before photo's, look at the rust out bolts on the exhaust shield all rusted out, the shield itself on the before is discolored like it happens when the heat turns it after years of use. The after is nice and new satin gray color! The bolts thru out the engine bay, the rusted out engine mounts! The battery is a different one! The timing belt cover is different! Spark plug wires are different! Windshield washer hoses! The Distributor on the before has a red dot painted on it (as if from a junk yard) the after does not! Oil Dip stick on the before is old and worn and discolored, on the after is nice Orange like new!

It's Obvious that they are both different cars, one nearly new, one used and old, why does the before pics have date stamped on them, but the after doesn't??

WD40 does help clean something’s, oil, grime, etc.. but it does NOT clean like this post says it does, the car shown as being after, was never cleaned with WD40 it's a lie! WD40 does not make old rusted bold like new, or old rusted engine mounts new painted like factory and a heat shield new again!

Take a good look at this pics again and see for yourself, look at every detail and you'll see... it's not the same car!

Shame on the one who posted this and passed it as true, and conned you fellow enthusiast into believing your stupid lie!
