heres an update on the truck. so far got the distributor put together with new contact points and condensors, got the water pump and air pump put on the motor. still gotta get spark plugs and make some battery cables and hopefully fire it up soon.

heres a pic of the water pump & air pump on the engine.

WOW! man your truck looks better than some others I've seen rolling around the streets here in so cal.. check "craigslist" my friend took many parts from a REPU he found at a junkyard. Not sure what he has left, but I know he has some parts. it's been a couple of weeks since he told me that he was gonna list the parts. Nice salvaging!

email me a list of what you need I can see if we have it floating around. As for pulling them out of the salvage yards for a couple of years we did this with quite a few because the yards were crushing them as soon as they got them.

Nice find. There is one of these near me that has been sitting in an auto repair yard for a long time. I think it is for sale, I'd be tempted but it looks too rusty for my taste.

I might have some new parts for the Repu. You will need to have a Repu parts catalog with part numbers to know for sure thou.

No nothing yet sorry. this colorado winter hasnt been very giving. Plus work has been taking up all of my time so i havent gotten to do anything ive ordered a few parts in as far as a weber carb setup, interior guages, a new battery box that i still need to get welded up and so on. At the moment im thinking of pulling the motor for a rebuild and trans swap this weay i can get in the engine compartment and clean up the wiring and such. Ill deffinetly keep up with the pics and everything though Im hoping to have it running by summer or fall this year but i cant guarantee anything at the moment.

Cool truck.

There is a guy on Colorado Mazda Club that's up your way with a REPU that could probably help you out.

Its going really slow. Works been really takin up every bit of my time. One day off is just nwver enough haha. So far ive pulled the motor out and rebuilt it with new water seals. Also painted the housings while i had it apart. Finding parts for these trucks is hard as it is haha. Havent put the motor back in yet would like to paint the engine bay and clean up the wiring still. Dont think ill get much done though now that its november in colorado with no garage sadly. Ill post pics of the motor when i get a chance.
