69000 miles, l24e engine, 20 psi oil pressure at idle and 50 + oil pressure above 3k rpm and that was after a 150 mile drive on minging old oil so im confident
the engine is sweet.
i have ordered some bullet fender mirrors and i got some wide arches but the arches i got arent really long enough, does anyone know where i can source some proper arch extensions for the 2 door coupe ?

and what wheel width and offset to fill them ?

Get a spirit level and measure hub (base of the wheel studs) to inside lip of guard.
Figure out what you need from there.
Being a Skyline, it will probably fit more rear than front.
Probably some nice 16x7 front and 16X8 rear.
All depends on the offset.

Perhaps some nice Watanabes.

Congrats on the purchase. Seems like a little gem.

And I second the wats... They suit everything!

Congrats, i've already seen it on the UK datsun board. When i bought my c210 i bought fender flares for it on yahoo auction, was a direct fit, specially made for the c210.

well ive been quite busy with the old girl.

my arch extensions are a no go so im now sourceing some genuine ones from japan.

silly go faster stripes are now removed and also removed the wing mirrors, i have bullet style mirrors to go on the wings neext to the front wheels.

the proper rear lights are ridiculous money for mint ones so ive gone for the classic style but in led.

ive done a mock up for positioning with cardboard and painted it silver, heres the first mock up

i am very happy with them ive just gotta decide where i want to position them so i can make the mount plate out of aluminium or stainless steel.

Use stainless steel to avoid dissimilar metals corrosion.

well i wasnt happy with the golf front splitter.

im now in contact with feast japan autos,

so far i have ordered a good second hand c10 boot spoiler and arch extensions and brand new front chin spoiler and a boss kit so i can fit my momo steering wheel.

he is also getting me a quote on a full rear light set with all trim.

i have now got the correct size rear number plate on and also installed the rear lights into an aluminium plate ive made recessed into the original trim.

i just need some bezels now 6" outside diameter, 5" inside diameter but i cant find any anywhere ?

well ive been quite busy with the old girl.

fitted the fender mirrors and blanked of original holes with nissan badges.

ive cut one coil out of all the springs dropping it around 60mm, prepped and painted the slot mags black.

tail lights all wired in finished.

removed the rotten rear silencer and adapted an r32 gtr veilside rear box to fit.

removed the rectangle front spots waiting on some 5" chrome round spots to fit.

ive adjusted the idle air valve aswell, im not sure if its working but it was open much to far when warm so ive adjusted it to closed warmed up just gotta see how it starts tommorrow from cold.

im really liking the look now not sure if it needs he fenders, spoiler and front chin, the panels are all on route from japan so i will just mock fit them when they get here and see if i still want them or not.

some pics

first parcel is here.

i fitted the c10 gtr rear boot spoiler

fitted the rear quarter skyline badges

the front chin spoiler is a c10 gtr one but its miles to narrow, im currently looking into

option for a c210 specific one that ive seen on all the ones ive seen, they are all square looking.

but as ive got it i thought sod it il chop it about and see what i can do, i managed to trim it and get it so it will fit by fixing it from behind the front valance. its just wedged in there at the moment but i am actually liking the shape of it being abit shark nose instead of just a square flat edge.

Please dont do that rear spoiler! front is fine but that rear one isnt what it needs, its fine without a spoiler.,
