I have had many jnc's but never a corona, always wanted a 78 4 door and finally came upon a gem.
I just finished my 79 liftback build 1 month ago so traded her for a 88 gts with a 20v silvertop swap and a 78 Honda cb750 bobber, the bike was just sitting in the garage so I put her up for sale, a couple of days later I get a call from a person interested in the bike but he had no money, he had a car for trade tho a 78 corona sedan, ohhh yea.
We talk and 10 minutes later he sends me pictures of the car and I can't beleive it, this car is clean, everything on this car is in great shape, all chrome trims are perfect, floor boards are prestige only rust is in the bottom of the windshield and the engine has just been rebuilt a couple of months ago, AC, power steering and all windows work the door panels even have the original blue plastic behind the door cards, she is perfect.
The owner had installed bigger disk brakes in front with some nice breaks, a new header, new 32/36, electric fuel pump and changed her from automatic to a 5 speed witch I'm still trying to figure out what tranny it has cause its beefy and tight, new clutch, water pump, belts you name it and its new, he even installed a new 85 toyota pickup radiator and electric fan so she rides great.
I still can't beleive this car is in my garage, I now have corona fever.
Mods well I already started the lowering process by adding 3 inch blocks in the rear and camaro shocks, the front I cut 2.5 coils eliminated the bump stops, new shocks and energy suspension bushings so she rides really good now, also installed some Enkei's 92 in 15x7 25 offset in front 15 in the rear
I was planning on getting a corona to do a 2jz swap but the engine on this thing is so healthy that I can't justify a swap so I think that I'm gonna turbo the 20r
Alright on with the pics

The Enkei's

Just finished lowering her today so here's the only picture I took tonight tomorrow ill take some more
