Okay, since im stumped, and my friend i usually ask about problems with this car is also stumped, thought id ask JNC for some advice, so heres my problem, im taking off from a stop and a few seconds later the car jerks very hard, and then the tach goes to zero and all i hear is the carbs suck in a bunch of air almost as if the car is off then it pops really loud and springs back to life, not to mention my tach also goes to zero even when im driving or even romping on it at like 3rd gear 4-5k rpms, and it misfires a bit too, i have no clue whats wrong. i even bought a new ignition coil, all connections are good, wires are good, and i know for sure im getting fuel.
