Hello!

Not been collecting for very long, but I do have something that resembles some sort of collection :)

Current hotwheels collection, mainly a JDM Board but has two matchbox cars that mean something to me:

I am planning to get all the variations of the 510's, as well as the KenMeri etc. Basically, I want to collect most of the JDM hotwheels there are.

Here it is with my other models:

And with a temporary light at dark:

If you wanna see close ups of the models then just ask, and I'll post some pictures :)

Cheers,

Simon.

I present the Tomica Vintage Neo Limited Autobacs Super Silhouette Bluebird. Just as awesome as their Skyline from a few months ago. Bought it right after the blog post here, the skyline that is. The Bluebird just came in last week.

The box is a work of art in itself. The car itself is nicely cradled in a molded plastic carrier. The standard info card is included as well.
Image

Just like the Skyline, there is complete detail in both the engine and the interior, right down to the racing harness and fire extinquisher
Image

If only it was bigger!

I just finished this one up this afternoon. It is a Hot Wheels with custom made decals and a little detail painting.

I was searching on the hotwheels site and found that the Toyota pickup, supra, subaru brat, and the honda crx are all apart of The Hot Ones collection. I have yet to see them. Has anybody found them?

Yeah, I have a few of the CRX, the supra, brat and the truck have not been seen yet around here. I just finally got my hands on the celica and the red mad manga.

Picked up both the Skyline and the Bluebird from here: http://www.amiami.com
Be prepared, with shipping, they are not cheap. If you buy several and spread the shipping across several cars, the cost per piece is a bit better.

Oh yeah, both the Skyline and the Bluebird still show in stock there. They are about 3000 jpy. Normal Tomica vintage run about 1000 jpy.

I had to stop visting there cause I was spending way to much money myself. I still look, but the wife is usually over my shoulder.

Ami Ami is good. Shipping gets expensive if you use EMS, so I go with SAL Registered shipping to save a little money.

I actually just came back from Japan.
Here are some results of my minicar shopping during my trip.... Not all are JNC, but I think they are all Japanese

Simon, I'm curious about this photo.... where are you from?
The only reason I ask is, because your WHITE RX-7 is in a blister.... I think in the US it only comes as a Mystery Car in a foil bag.

Hi,

If you look you can see that the colour of the car on the card is a different colour to the car in the blister..

I bought a blue RX-7, cut it out of the blister, and placed the white one inside! (Then resealed it.)

Just so I could hang it on the board.

Just in case you wanted to know anyway, I'm from the UK.

Simon.
