The latch for these is up under the dash between the steering column and the radio........a little black handle...you kinda have to know its there

The mighty Toyota HiLux! This truck brought back many memories and fuzzy feelings. And that my friends, is what nostalgia is all about.

This 84 Nissan 200SX Turbo belongs to a mechanic at one of my lots. The guy is deaf, so I got the intel on it from a long conversation via a combination of tablet, blackberry and good ol pen and paper. He paid 600 for it, and everything works! Some of us will never be that lucky. BTW he is one of the best mechanics I have ever seen. Second only to the blind one armed guy that replaced the alternator on my mom's car once!






The shift knob was imported by a friend from Japan.



Here's the engine in all it's 1.8L 140hp 6 pounds boost glory!



I may end up posting more from this guy. He currently owns a 78 RX7, Cressida, and he recently bought the 67 Crown wagon that was for sale on the Seattle CL not too long ago.

S12 Nissan Turbo. Gotta love 'em.

I was never a fan. Back when I was a kid, these cars and a lot of cars from the 80's were just cheap throw away transportation. Sure they might have been fun to drive, as your first car! But where I grew up, they were never considered classic. Now here I am 30 years old, wondering what happened to my old AW11, drooling over pics on the internet of early 80's Supra's, 300z's, RX7's, Rollas. And getting all excited about the rarity and coolness of a car I never knew I liked! Things change when we get old.

Anyone for old Landcruisers!



This duo sits in the lower garage at Magic Toyota in Edmonds. They used to be shiny. They've been there awhile. They are owned by one of the owners of the lot, who bought them cause he thought they were cool, but then stuck them down here. They still run, they used to sit farther in the corner!




I don't remember the year on this cream Landcruiser, early 70's? It still has original dealer emblems.



I believe it is all original. It's in good shape, especially inside. Though it does have a little rust.





I thought this was comical



And the legendary, always awesome Toyota straight six.



This one is a 77, that was towed behind a motorhome for a number of years. More mileage on the chassis, than the engine.

This old Jeepster Commander sits next to the Landcruisers. It needs help!




I have no idea what year it is, and I haven't seen it move in the three years I've had this job.






This is cool. The tiltometer! in case your to drunk to notice you landed at a right angle



I was surprised to not only see a six cylinder, but a v6 nonetheless! Maybe someone here knows more about these motors?

This is a 72 Honda Z600 that lives in the front entrance of Klein Honda. I wanted to get MUCH better pics of it, but they keep it locked. And apparently I can't get the keys without buying a car Anyway, I managed to get these,

I shot this a couple years ago! I believe it's an 86, with a turbo 7M.

Just realized how long it's been since I posted anything!

I'm not a huge fan of Z cars, not that I hate them either. But this makes me cry!
