I'm definitely wanting to keep the color. It actually wouldn't be too bad if it weren't for the rust and body damage.
The only thing's I'll be changing is the suspension and interior. I got some seats with it that I'd like to try out, if I don't like them, I'll get the originals reupholstered. I'm also thinking about a plaid headliner like the pic of that lada 2101, but in a gray/blue color. The wheels will stay and the steering wheel. I may even paint the steering wheel to match, not sure just yet.
and for today's update.
Straightened out the bumper brackets... and drove it around the block again. This thing is way fun to drive.
The brackets are suppose to sit straight, below the sides of the bumper. You can see in the first pic how high up they are bent.
I'm going to have to replace the bolts that hold the brackets to the bumper. Snapped two of them and stripped one of the nuts on one.


Also got these cobra buckets with the car.
