How much are you asking for the cb450? I'm looking for a bike for my mom...
I plan to list it up on Craigslist very soon for $3500.
Here's a spec list:
1968 Honda CB450 - 'The Blue Streak'
Stripped to the bare frame and rebuilt at Illuminati Motorcycles. The engine was completely torn down, cleaned, machined, and rebuilt by 'Papa' José, head mechanic and Honda engine maestro at Illuminati. The bike is very complete with a true period patina. This bike wasn't rebuilt as a show bike, but as a reliable and fast vintage-looking, stripped down street machine.
Newly rebuilt engine with 200 easy break-in miles on it and its first oil change.
Over $1500 spent just on the machine shop.
Rebuilt and machined head, NOS pistons and rings, NOS carbs, new clutch.
Rare CL450 tank with vintage custom paint.
Newly reupholstered CL450 seat.
CB350 4" metal headlight bucket.
Newly rebuilt CB500T front end with CB350 drum front wheel.
New Battery
New Coker Double Diamond 400-18 tires front and rear.
Illuminati is known for their function before form approach, so this bike is loud, fast, and purposefully meaner-looking than the average shiny little CBs you see all over Silverlake these days...
I recently had the bike cleared by the CHP and newly registered. The registration is current and the title is clean.
