If he doesn't take the 1000 grille badge I will, or if you have a second one maybe? The original 1000 series is very rare, it only lasted 12 months in the 800 series bodyshell. His sedan is even more interesting in that it has a factory floor shift transmission. All Australian versions were column shift.
Baltsiotis and I have exchanged numerous NOS 1000 parts to ensure both our cars are as close to perfect as any 45 year old vehicle can be. There are not many of us restoring them anywhere in the world.
