It was great to see your can on Saturday. I didn't get a chance to come say hi because you were almost always chatting to other people, but I managed to get a good look and some photos of your car. The level of commitment was on a level that I see very rarely. I also talked to some other people who were as impressed as I was.

I forgot to mention my thanks for saying such a nice thing :)

The Hako is also entered in Motorex next weekend, and I was pretty nervous that it isn't up to the standard of the cars at that show, so this does make me feel a bit better :D

whenever I looked over you usually had an audience of like, 4 people haha :)
Sure, it isn't the tidiest of cars, but anybody can tell that it's been cared for and driven, which is the best thing a car enthusiast can do: let their car be seen in public. It was surprising how there was always a crowd around your car, but not many people around the white one down the other end of the carpark.

It's been a busy few months for car shows with the Hako, with Showcased a few weeks ago, and the Motographix Show and Shine at World Time Attack in a few weeks. But for this weekend, the Hako will be shown at Meguiars Motorex, which is Australia's biggest and most prestigious custom car show.
Image

Tonight was the bump-in, and the Hako is safely tucked in with the rest of the cars from Sydney All-Stars and Zen Garage.
Image

I had a chance to do a quick wander around the halls tonight while everyone was setting up, and it's shaping up to be an awesome show.
Image

Can't wait to get there tomorrow and check out the rest of the show properly.

Motorex is one of the highlights of the calendar, so I'm super-stoked to be allowed to have my car there.

If you see me at the Zen Garage stand, make sure you come and say hello :)

Surreal moment of the day: lining to up get into Motorex, and noticing that the guy in front is looking at pictures on his phone, and on his FB feed are pics of the Hako :)

it's a two day show, right? If so, I'll probably head in with some mates depending on how I'm going. Does looks like it'll be a good show though.

It's been a pretty hectic past few months with the Hako being in a few car shows (it's never been polished so often in its life!) and this weekend marks the last show until the Sydney Datsun Day in November.
Image

On Saturday, the Hako will be on display at the Motographics Show and Shine, as part of the World Time Attack round at Sydney Motorsports Park. For the first time, the car show will have a vintage JDM section, and I'm stoked that the Hako can take part. So if you're at Eastern Creek on Saturday, come and say hello!

So you're not coming to the Classic Skyline Nationals at Goulburn in September?
Show and shine Saturday 8th
Wakefield Park Sunday 9th.
Lots of GroupA/C stuff coming out for the track day.
