It would be in the evening, probably 6 or 7 start time. Cooler and hopefully most people have left work by then.

Thanks Foxau2, I should have clarified... a meet during normal work hours wouldn't work out well for us either so it will probably start around 5:30 P.M. and go until 7:30 P.M. We figured a weekday meet after work would work well for most people and it still keeps your weekends open.

Thank you for clarifying that. I could definitely show up at that then. :)

Did you guys end up going to cars and coffee? I got up and was getting ready but forgot that my wife had other plans so I spent the day at the zoo in the rain. I might make it this week but i would have to make it early, I've got plans at 11.

I won't be around on Saturday :( but I thought about swinging by one of the cruise nights this week since I have some time in the evening. Tonight's is Hires in West Valley, Wed is Valley Fair and Thursday is Daybreak. Not sure which one I will go see but I'm thinking about them.

Sorry I can't make it but take some pictures.

I am thinking of going to the Wasatch Car Club meet at Murray Park this Sunday, the 22nd at 3:30 at the East Pavillion area near Parkside Elementary. Sundays seem to have a pretty good turn out.

Yea, figure it may not be a heavy turn out. Sounds like atleast one trac will be there, not sure of any other nostalgics or Toyotas

He works at Toyota with my friend (red sr20 Datsun 620 pickup also featured) out in California. He fell in love with it when I brought it down to JCCS and kept reminding me that he had first dibs. I had been thinking about selling it for a while because although its cool, it was mostly taking up space and I wanted to simplify my collection. Less mouths to feed :D . I got rid of my '94 Toyota too so now the Corona is my daily and the Datsun is still a toy.

The truck couldn't have gone to a better home. He loves it and is taking great care of it. And I will be able to visit it when I go out there. He is bringing it to JCCS and Nisei Week so I still get to see it on the Web too. I don't believe he is on here although he is on Ratsun occasionally.

So I brought out my 620, Duane with his Corona, and a buddy of his (cant remember his name) with his VW Squareback crashed the Daybreak Cruise lastnight. It's funny the mixed emotions that people have when seeing our vehicles.

This is the only one I took. Steve purposely parked next to the rat rod. I backed up to get a shot of all of us and must have got distracted.

So, Eric, I'm planning for Thursday August 2nd. Do you have a set time yet? I know that some people prefer a later start/end time. This could be a great little gathering.

Let's do it! First Thursday of August (8/2) @ 6.00 P.M. in the parking lot of JDM Legends. This will be a casual monthly get together with all vehicles welcome but we would like to restrict the front section of the parking lot (or possibly the entire lot depending on turnout) to Japanese vehicles that meet the 25 year or older "classic" cut off. This will ensure that J-tin will be the focus of the meet as it is intended.

5662 s. 300 w. Unit B
Murray, 84107

Let me know if anyone has any issues with that time and/or date, hope to see you there!
