yeah the roof is ugly, but if you try reeeeal hard you can imagine it yakuza/shakotan with curtains. im thinking 80's VIP/yankee style. its actually a fiber-glass shell that hangs out over the rear window (like a roof spoiler of sorts) iv'e thought about recovering it also with chrome trim or removing and trimming it down into a roof spoiler over the back
im going with a G40 4spd. because my S13 is falling apart and i infinitely miss driving my cressida. it was auto and leaking out the back seal and long story short i got the driveshaft seized to the output shaft (master splines
)
my buddies SR5 AE-86 missile was sold within our shop for $100, i got the pedal for $40 and another friend had the trans for $40 so i decided to abandon ship and budget the 'ol yota back into duty. i'm almost done just need to find a shifter and stretch my one-piece driveshaft
p.s. -if anyone has seen a roof like this please lmk i'm very curious of its origins.
