Yes, engine bay look good. Did you put the pedals in already? As for the filters I'd say K&N if using as a DD. :)

Haven't put the pedals in yet. Thanks for hooking me up (and for the trim piece too). Still gather parts for the swap (flywheel, clutch, etc).

Any idea how the "Ring Screen Elements" ( http://www.compperformancegroupstores.c ... de=Filters ) work compared to the K&N Filters? They look cooler but just wondering if they impede performance / air flow compared to the K&N style.

Updates to follow.

Ordered up a new fly wheel and clutch for my 5 speed swap. Unfortunately, the transmission I had was actually for a Datsun 240Z (I have too many projects!). I thought I kept my W50 out of my 80 Celica but this obviously wasn't the case. Anyone out there with a W50 transmission and is willing to sell it, let me know. Local pick up preferred (I'm in Long Beach, CA). Gonna check the local junk yards.

they do look cool. Have not tried it but I think it will just work fine. Using a K&N filter coz I have it if not I might gone that route. I think the drawback on these are one have to clean it more so often than with the K&N or maybe not?

Thanks for the advice Bong. Found a rebuilt W50 for a reasonable price. Hopefully I can get this thing on the road again so I can drop the suspension and get it nice and shiny again.

I'm probably going to have to trim down the stacks to fit a K&N filter. It sits very close to the wheel well. I've been checking around to see if anyone makes a 90 degree stack so I can mount the filters. We'll see.

Got the 5 speed transmission in. Added some gauges as well.

Next step is to focus on getting the car lowered and working on the interior (seats, steering wheel, maybe roll bar). Its coming along slowly but surely.

Car is coming along slowly. Got the car lowered (cut Ford Courier springs and 2" blocks in the rear). Gonna try to get some better shocks to accommodate the drop (any suggestions?). I like how the Enkei 98's fit. Gonna get the faces powder coated gold and lips polished.

Thinking about putting in a roll bar and new front seats so I can run 4 point harnesses. The car only came with lap belts and its not very safe.
