that still will work to a large degree but still have an element of strain on it, (wait till you see) but honestly the more major issue for handling is the "toe in on turns" you would need to cut and reshape the knuckle to get it right which if done properly will shorten your lock to lock as drifters do and you can fix that tie rod angle win win.
geometry is the key if you get it right it will work just fine

For those that don't know what we are talking about...
I picked up these today.
S13 hubs

And this is an R31 tie rod end Vs S13 hub

Also for those that don't know, NZJDM is a bit of a steering specialist.

What is it you do for a job? I might be thinking of someone else in Melbourne with a DR30.

I put my adjustable lower control arms in today.

Image

Of course I had a couple of problems.
Really starting to hate these flare nuts.

Image

They grip really well because of the flare, and they are really soft, so they round off easily.
I had to beat it into submission.

Image

Drivers side tie rod, no problem. A couple of taps and out it came.

Image

Passenger side was a little more difficult.
After about half an hour of fruitless beating, I went to Repco and bought one of these.

Image

Good value at around $9.00. Made a hell of a BANG! when it finally let go.

The previous owner had already replaced the standard control arm bushes.

Image

Here is the new one in place at the pivot. It adjusts 25mm in and 25mm out from standard.

Image

I thought I would try my Roll centre adjusters, even though they will only be there for a week.

Image

And here it is with everything back in place.

Im in suspension and steering yeah haha it just seemed as you were taking a hit!

I love those control arms by the way! I think aftermarket s13 lca's would fit too from what Iv seen, it may just need s13 caster arms and the front bracket changed (dr30)

My BBS lips left Nuernberg Germany for Koeln Germany yesterday.
Overnight they left Koeln and are presently in Paris.

In other news, what do we have here?

Now in the car and working :tu:

Okay, so being unable to wait, I started pulling these wheels apart.
The bolt has an 8mm 12 point head, and the nut is 10mm 12 point.
So logically. any multi hex spanner or socket should fit.....

Image

...and so they do.

Some time later...

And after a bit of seeing to with Mr Persuader....

Rears, before and after.

I have only put 4 bolts in for perve purposes.
Fronts before and after.

Tits.

We are pleased.

I ran out of time.
I have 1 left that is about 1/4 bolted up, then I have to seal them which will take about 3 days.
Then I have to put some tyres on them and roll the guards and we should be ready to roll like a badass :D
God I'm a fashion victim.
