back when i first had the body work done i thought it would be cool to shave the wipers. the closer i get to driving this car the more i think i need the wipers back. so i began opening those holes back up to reinstall the wiper assembly...not fun but i want this car to be more useable that a show stopper if you know what i mean.

Sounds good man. I've been watching your thread on the Celica site for over a year now.

The sound is way more evil than I expected. hah

it does sound evil, especially now that the distributor is installed properly and the valves clearanced.. oops! anyway, the idle is better but with the open headers it screams!

ordered electric fans yesterday. need to pull the headliner for some minor repairs and once that comes back the glass goes in.

I just realized my pic links in all the previous posts are dead... snap1 better move my images to photobucket. that's gonna be a pain in the a$$...

it does sound pretty mean. probably the closest I have been to taking this for a drive in nearly 9 years.... it's been so long I had begun to think of it less as a car to drive and more like an art project to look at. watching Top Gear always gets me pumped though. 8)

Finally had some extra time to get a little done this weekend. Now that the engine is running again it needed to set up the electric cooling fan.

I used a 30amp relay and an SW515 temperature switch to activate the fan. mounted a 10" electric puller fan. manually engaging the fan pull a lot of air through the rad, but i have not run the engine up to a temperature to engage in via the thermal switch yet. I will try to fully test it this week. Then i need to pull the headliner down and send it to the shop for some minor repairs. then this things just needs paing and reassembly!

DB352/352 Mercedes-Benz Bahama Blue Metallic. Mostly found on 2000-04(i think) SLKs and possibly some other random Daimler-Chrysler vehicles... didn't get a look at the code on the car but think I saw it on a Viper on Friday.

Wow, it's amazing to see this painted, with all of its trim, sitting in a parking lot! Can you tell I've been following this one for a while?
