I know this is not exactly nostalgic, but I wanted to post it anyway. I bought this van from a member here back in December,and had it shipped from CA to MA. The body is in good shape, but needs a new paint job to fix the maaco or worse job that is on it. Shortly after getting it I found oil in the radiator, so I thought great now I need to do a head gasket. While doing it I realized the seller had told me that the head gasket, timing bekt etc had just been changed,and he wasn't lying. Turns out the head was cracked, so I had to replace it. I got it all put back togetehr a few weeks ago,and have been driving it. It runs good, but has a pingijng problem under light acceleration. I plan on having a look at the timing blet orientation today to make sure it is right.
I have been picking at little things on it over time like replacing the door locks so I can get into the van, painting the front panel black so it matches the factory scheme, new tires on Starion wheels, etc.
