I'm still learning (I'm starting to hate how yellow lights work in my area) but the first car I ever drove was my Mum's Hyundai Elantra (2004, red, auto, 2lt 4 cylinder)
This thing is slow. My mum is always getting up me because I always ease the throttle on to keep speed while going up hill, eventually i hit 3/4 throttle and the transmission kicks down. This ends with her saying "Let the car do the work, you don't need to accelerate so hard!".
The second car I have driven is my Dad's Ford Falcon (2004, White, auto, ex-telstra, 4lt straight 6)
This I like more, the big 6 makes it just get up and go.
However the first manual I ever drove was a Mitsubishi Lancer. Same colour.
I still need to get a job and start saving for my own car. Judging by prices I might end up with a R31 because they are cheap and rear drive here.
