I thought i'd revive this thread, hopefully this one owner example will go to an enthusiast - seems like there are more alot more fanatics of these old Honda's than there are cars?!? If I had the room and cash flow, i'd have snapped it up, I think they're brilliant value. It's understandable that the few examples that have survived are so highly regarded, and sought after.

Four cylinder air cooled 1300 cc engine. It was derived from the F1 engine Honda made back in the late 1960's, hence the dry sump.
Front wheel drive and a unique rear end gave the car great handling characteristics.
It was the first large car Honda manufactured, the design reflected the Pontiac Firebird Mr Honda drove at that time. The 1300 Coupe was a personal project of Mr Honda.
The car has been in our family since new. It is not a daily driver, it needs to go to a collector who appreciates it's rareity and place in automative history.
