So I was so tired of looking at everybody's nice ass fender mirrors. I finally pulled the trigger on a sweet deal from my local Toyota dealership here in the Springs. After seeing them on ebay, I decided to call the dealership just to get a quote on them. Luckily for the guy was really cool and he was into Nostalgic Cars also, he gave me a military discount 10% on each one. He also mentioned that they were in stock in a couple places in the states for example, Los Angeles, Kentucky, Cincinnati, and one other spot I forgot he said. So I decided to be different and order the black ones. Here is a picture of the black fender mirrors from ebay.

Here is the link were I saw them on ebay. I also don't have to pay for shipping and the final price after tax was $189. So I saved a little on the price and not worrying about if they will get banged on it's way from Bangkok. :tu: :tu: :tu:

They are going to go on my Cosmo pictured here

Well the slated way they are made, it's not able to be mounted on the fender.

Thanks for the post and the info, just ordered a left mirror for my RA29 using the part number in the auction you posted. Right now, I just ordered the left as it seems that is the hard one to get. The passenger's side showed several available with the closest being in Houston. I didn't get the discount, unfortunately :( I am just gonna paint it if they are gray. I have great luck with Krylon Fusion semi-gloss black. Holds up well to the elements. Try it if you can find it.

Nice cosmo!

Only thing that would bug the he'll out of me is the fact that the cosmo didn't come with those type of mirrors. If I were you I would try looking for something that matches the original boxy not chrome mirrors... Just my little comment... Nevertheless that cosmo looks nice night I bet others want more pics too...

They look good!
Setting them up can suck, I found you need a mate to park in your blind spot, then get em to adjust em so you can spot something there.
How was fitting them? I measured from factory cut outs on my Cosmo when fitting to my 929, 3 hours of pain, cuts, cursing an rolling around on ground.
LOVE EM tho!

Not round? Well, then they're OVAL... which is still considered round.

I think what he meant to say is they are "ROUNDED".

JMD mirrors only come in round or square. So those are round.

Lighten up and stop being so anal. Seriously. :?

You do that ALOT.
