You can also play around with the pivot point on the pedal. Meaning changing the distance from the pedal pivot to the mounting point of the master cylinder pushrod. Might need to angle the MC to achive it but you might be able to reduse effort/travel.

Success!! I switched to a 7/8" bore master cylinder. Now I have good pedal feel and the car stops without having to stand on the pedal. I used BECK/ARNLEY part number 0722694.

Now it is time to clean up the details like the parking brake cables and some hard line clips to keep everything in place. I can see daylight at the end of the tunnel!!

Nice work!!

The countersunk screws must be mounted with locktite, otherwise they tend to get loose. Only an advise :D

I am not sure. This is the only Crown I have ever worked on.
