I've seen a fender at a local scrapyard. Other parts might still be there. I'll have a look :tu:

This model is quite popular back then, being much much cheaper than other cars of its era.

I have more pictures for today. I went to take the flat wheels off and replace with the new tires. Unfortunately, this car use 12 iches rim. So, i need some time to find tires. The engine was changed to Nissan A13 engine. I will try to change it back to the orginal aircool. It is so lucky that front and rear suspention are original. The difficulting for me is finding tail light and fron turn signal. :D

I have some more picture. I tow it to my house and start to take it apart. I take the old paint off. You can see from the picture how thick it is. It thicks about 1 cm.

Why not keep the Datsun engine? Would certainly make the car a lot more fun to drive... 8)

The 800 would probably be fine, once the extra 50kg of filler is stripped out of it!

Datsun enging is too big, I think. I need smaller engine such as Toyota 3K or small Subaru or Daihatsu engine. There are a lot of small engines in the market.I am thinking which one is going to fit with my car.

I have some more pictures of my UP20. I am working on it. I take the filler out of both side and will try to finishthis job soon.

I have more pictures, I have not post for while because I search for the missing parts. Most part I bought from Japand and I almost get all of them. The problem is UP20 engine, it is very rare and high price. I got new fender from Japan and replace on my UP20. It is look a lot better than the old one.

Love this project so far!!!

If getting another motor isn't cost effective then why not get a different one? Preferably toyota lol.
