Well, it is your car, so too each his own lol. Figured under 300 for a Megasquirt and an adapter and you would have been golden. That and you do tune with EFI, or atleast I do.

Mind you, not saying anything negative about carb's. Just not my cup of tea, so had to ask why remove efi for them.

lol everyone's car I know that runs MS runs like shit. No thanks. I had pretty much maxed out what the intake could flow as it was, anyways, so just throwing in different ignition/injector timing would have gained me zilch. Which brings me back to the $2k+ for the ITB's to make any extra power. (and all the ITB's available don't look as cool as SU's or Triples).

I can understand wanting a certain look :) MS works for me and my car runs great, hence the reason I like it. I am also running aftermarket manifold and 70 mm TB, so thats going to give me diff performance when compared to an old stock setup.

Love your car and the work being done to it. Whats the next plan?

yee, and thanks dude! Right now I've got 14k springs for the rear on order. then I need to get new dampers for the Stance coilovers I bought and put those all in. directly after this, I'm getting my new wheels re-lipped. Going to 14's and super stoked on it!

heeeh

removed lock-nut on inner tie-rod (replaced with loctite) got about 2* angle

modded knuckles got the rest. I didn't even shorten them that much, everyone says I should have gone more, but I love where my angle is at currently, and I already rub the rear of my inner front fenders at full lock (feels weird as FARK in motion haha) even with my small ass tires (2" shorter than stock). And with a de-powered power steering rack with spacers and extended control arms I should achieve all the angle I could ever desire.

knuckles:

notched control arms:

suspension shit:

Stock tension rods have been good so far, caster is even good at 5.8* so I'm not too hurried to get some T3 Tension rods

and here's my final static angle:

My friend Royce was entering 3rd in his Miater. I just have fun in 2nd gear, I feel bad for my trans when I smash downshift back into 2nd lmao

The course is pretty tight, I was doing about the widest lines you possibly can out there in that video.

Thanks buddy.

I've already removed the lock nut and added a small spacer for the steering rack, wa just curious how another S130 guy pulled it off. I figured you would have the knuckles from manual steering rack or something.

Finally, we'll be welding up these arms once we get my cage put in.

every knuckle from every type of steering rack is the same on S130s.

I've checked lol

btw my car came factory with the manual rack, still has the manual rack...

I'm looking to upgrade it to a power rack and de-power it so I can use regular S-chassis tie rods and shit.

I've already got an S14 rack rollin around, trying to decide if I want to try and make it work or not...

Why do you want to depower the s130 rack? What the big deal with s13 tie rods on that depowered s130 rack? Just curious to see where you're going with things. Figure I've been doing trial and error with everything else, why not see where other guys are going with their cars.

The reason why I'm depowering a power rack isbecause my car came stock with manual steering, and power steering is gay lol

The reason why I'm looking to swap to a 280ZX power rack is because S13 inners will work with it, allowing me to use S13 outers and also hopefully gain a little wheel clearance. S13 inners will allow me to use rack spacers, as well, to gain further steering angle

The reason I want to try and use my S14 rack is because it will let me use S14 solid rack bushings, and also use the PBM offset bushings to fix a little bumpsteer and change my ackermann a little, as well.

Shut the front door! Any closeups of your old setup, then?
