so got a new engine for it.
full swap, engine, wiring harness, ecu, everything.

Might no be the coolest choice, but 60hp to 160hp should be fun! esp in a car that only weighs 1650 lbs!


ALSO i have heard from a lot of 510 guys that the single slams are way easier to swap in!

came from a buddy who is putting a dual cam in his coupe, has REALLY low miles for a single cam, should be lots of fun!


NOW, i need some kind of rear end. I am thinking that a GT-S/SR-5 rear end would be best, thats the only thing keeping me from dropping it in, is the fact that i know the rear end wont last a day!

measured the rear ends.

Rx7 rear end.

it looks to be about 1530mm end of stud to end of stud. and 1480 from disc face to disc face.

for the starlet
1350mm from drum face to drum face.
sooo about 130mm difference haha damn! 65mm spacer per side! i may get it shortened eventually.
definitely getting some fender flares


don't have the money for shorted axles ATM, it's not like i will be running crazy wide wheels or anything, so i am not too worried about it, if i throw some flares on it, it should be fine.

So I grabbed some wheels n shit for it.





I need to properly fit the wheels. lower the car, and shit, probably gonna need some flares since the GLS-SE rear axle will push it out quite a bit.

FARK pulling that engine. I spent all day on it.

the big problem is the exhaust is fucking impossible to separate from the engine.

well I had a fix for that.

Rear suspension stuffs is here so now all I need is adjustable 4 links and camber adjustable top hats and ill be 100% done with this cars suspension!

few updates

local buddy Chambo and I finished the rear end last weeked (actually just chambo, I mostly got in the way haha), pushed the wheels out WAYYY too much, so I am picking up some 14x6 +8 centerlines soon basically I have 3 inches of poke of each side, ZG flares wont fix that.


found out the brakes are too big for the 13's when I tried to put them back on, oh well.


anyway this meant I could put the rear end suspension stuff on.
height looks good will cut a few dead coils once I get the new wheels and front suspension on.


still no engine in it, so the front end is wayyyy high, also still waiting of the ae86 spindles and stuff to put the front coils on.
